Personal InformationIf you have read the book Personality Plus I am equal parts Choleric & Phlegmatic with a side of Melancholy. I love to organize people, data and things, although you wouldn’t know it by looking at my kitchen table. I enjoy running events and projects and I love baseball. I like being in a creative atmosphere, I love Tennessee, I love my kids and I love photography (especially sports photography).
I married my best friend Verlen in 1982 and we have 2 kids, 2 dogs and a cat. Since being married we have lived in Nebraska, Iowa and Tennessee. Our daughter Chelsea recently received her Masters Degree in History from Oklahoma State University. She will continue her studies in the PHD program at Louisiana State University. Our son Caleb is a Firefighter in the Nebraska National Guard and is working toward his EMT and Paramedic certifications to pursue a career as a civilian Firefighter.
Working in education for 17 years, I have coached Speech, Cheer and Dance Teams and Directed several All School Plays. I was a founding member and Board President of The Nebraska Association of Dance Teams and was honored as the 2005 Nebraska Cheer & Dance Coach of the year. My experience as a training company owner as well as creating school Yearbooks for six years have made me the go-to person for designing and publishing many books, brochures, programs and newsletters. Undergraduate courses and other training I have received include BEST (Behavioral) Training, Accelerated Reading Training, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, In-Design, and Photography classes.
The positive people and the fresh, creative atmosphere at Hotshots by Hollie make me to look forward to every day at the studio.
